Today was the busiest day so far.
Today's itinerary included visits to the Amber Fort Palace, City Palace, Jantar
Mantar, Hawa Mahal
Birla Temple, and a fabric stamping
shop.
The Amber Fort Palace was wickedly
awesome. Its size and view of the city were incredible. I got to enjoy the view
of the city from the back of an elephant. At first, the elephant ride scared me
because the elephant rocked so much, but I got used to it about half-way up to
the fort.
One of the coolest things I've seen
done is fabric stamping. The people who stamp the fabric start out with white
cotton fabric and turn it into a multi-colored stamped piece of art. I found it
so fascinating that I tried it out myself.
